Today, I wanted to show you a little something different: Petite Plates. This collection “Sweet Nature” is one of my newest faves for Bible Journaling. With the release of 3 different styles of the Illustrating Bibles from Dayspring, the wider margins are really opening up the possibilities for using ALL of your Gel Press plates in your Bible journaling.

We are in that season of thankfulness. That season of remembering what and who makes are our lives amazing. However, it’s not always easy when there are so many negative things in the world and in our own personal lives.

Today, I am going to share with a simple technique for getting a layered look!
Don’t be scared! If you are like me, I know it can be so easy to look at these absolutely BEAUTIFUL prints from other people and wonder how they achieved it. More specifically, how they knew what order to put that layers down to achieve the final product.

For today’s project, I wanted to show you that you can also use this simple technique on a small scale, like the mini shapes that come with the Faith Impressions kit.

For my first bible page, I was going through the devotional that comes in the kit and Day 3 was just like lightbulbs turning on everywhere. I’ll just say it right here, fear is a stronghold in my life…I won’t go into the nitty gritty, many WAYS it is a stronghold but I think any time we can get ourselves into the word to face those areas in our lives is a good thing.
