Karen Ellis likes to make things – a lifetime crafter who has dabbled in everything from scrapbooking, sewing, quilting, crochet, metal art, jewelry making, painting, art journaling and encaustic. She started scrapbooking in 1995 when pregnant with her (not so) little one and immersed herself into mixed-media in 2005 – becoming completely addicted. Nothing makes her happier than when she’s elbow deep in paints and mediums, tossing it around just to see what it will do.
